MTM140 Basics of Film

This course introduces students to the art of film. Students explore film style, genre and period, as well as the cultural origin of films. The course emphasizes historical, theoretical and current issues in film and their impact on current society. Students explore the elements of a successful film through careful analysis of various examples.
