SSC311 Law & the Legal System
This course provides students with an overview of American law and the legal system. Students will explore law as a process of restoring, maintaining, and creating social order whose functions are to resolve disputes, facilitate and protect agreement, and constantly examine the legal concepts of a society through maintaining continuity and consistency. Students will analyze legal principles as opposed to memorization of legal rules.
