Student Advising

Each student is assigned an Academic and Student Life Coordinator (ASLC)/advocate. Advocates meet with students to get to know them and their specific situation. They continue to meet students throughout their program. Advocates are educators that work outside of the classroom and collaborate with the faculty and other staff members to help equip students with specific strategies for personal, academic and professional success. Advocates advise students in topics such as: academics, study skills, mental health, roommate issues, newly found independence, social and life skills, time management, goal setting, communication, sleep and other concerns.
