FAC135 3D Printing

Students will use creative problem solving skills to design 3 dimensional physical objects, and then explore a range of software tools to realize their ideas in digital form. Students will also research and report on  the impacts of additive manufacturing on society, exploring topics such as challenges to intellectual property paradigms, changes in product design and development methods, increased access to manufacturing, and recent developments in the industry.
