LNG120 Languages & Linguistics

This course will cover basic concepts of linguistics, and methods of analysis of language. Students will explore linguistics and the role of language in society, specifically the evolution of English. The course will introduce phonology, morphology, syntax, and semantics, and problem-solving techniques, with material drawn from a variety of languages.
