Incomplete (INC)

An Incomplete is a temporary designation given at the discretion of the instructor and the Vice President of Academics to a student who, through no fault of their own, is unable to complete the required course material on schedule. Before the course ends, the student must arrange with the instructor to finish the course at a later date by completing specific requirements.

If a faculty member determines an incomplete is warranted, all work must be completed by the date specified by the faculty member, but no later than the first day of the following quarter.  An INC that has not been resolved by the first day of the following quarter will automatically be assigned a letter grade of F. In the interim, the grade of INC will not be factored in a student's pace or cGPA calculation. Once the INC grade is converted to a letter grade, the student's compliance with SAP will be evaluated.
