MAT180 Precalculus
This course introduces students to essential algebraic and trigonometric concepts requisite for success in higher-level math courses such as Linear Algebra and Calculus. Topics include mathematical expressions, linear equations, functions and graphs, polynomials, exponents, and problem solving. Additionally, trigonometric functions and equations, angles and triangles, similar triangles, inverse trigonometric functions and laws of sines and cosines will be explored. Completion of this course is equivalent to completing both MAT105 College Algebra and MAT150 Trigonometry.
