MAT200 Math-Based Codes, Ciphers & Secrets

This course will expose students to the world of math-based codes and cryptography from elementary ciphers used in the ancient world to the most sophisticated modern-day encryption. Topics include encryption and decryption of concealment, transposition, and substitution ciphers. History of ciphers will be discussed as well as techniques used to break them.
