CSC586 Advanced Computing Seminars VI

This instructor-led course examines current topics in Computer Science at a graduate level. A different selection of topics are covered each quarter so that the course remains focused on issues that are of current importance. Instruction will utilize appropriate combinations of lecture, discussion, technical walk-through, critical review, and other means of exploring advanced computing concepts. The course has two main objectives: 1) Provide students with a good understanding of a range of topics at the forefront of modern Computer Science; 2) Develop skills in the critical assessment of computing concepts, particularly in areas related to technology application .
